Mussel shell earrings beachcombed at Hollicombe Beach, South Devon, and hand decorated with a traditional tattoo swallow design. The back is left unpainted but sealed to show off the natural colours of the shell. Edges painted with a decadent line of gold. The front of the shell is finished in a water based gloss. Length of the mussels is 4.5cm.
